Australian satellite imagery, image processing and geospatial services company, Geoimage, has been acquired by Brisbane-based surveying, town planning and development advisory company, Jensen Bowers.

Tony Evans, managing director of Jensen Bowers welcomed Geoimage to Jensen Bowers Group, stating “We look forward to enhancing our service offering, particularly where the two industry leading companies can combine their diverse range of skills and experience to offer quality business and technical solutions to their wide range of clients and sectors.”

Wayne Middleton, former CEO of Geoimage Pty Ltd, takes on the role of general manager for Jensen Bowers Group. Wayne said: “This is such an exciting time for the Geoimage business and we see many opportunities to deliver even greater value to our clients, offer more products and services, and strengthen our position in the spatial industry as we become part of The Jensen Bowers Group.”

The acquisition will now accelerate growth plans for both brands under the umbrella of a single organisation, a press release from the company said.
