SSSI events coming to Victoria and WA

The 2019 National APSEA Awards at #Locate19.

The industry focus is on, as the West Australian and Victorian regional SSSI events and APSEA award galas roll into town.

With the theme ‘Define – Deliver – Maintain’, SSSI VIC Surveying and Spatial Summit & APSEAV 2019 will be exploring ways in which new technologies and innovations can add value to spatial businesses.

This year the event will feature an exclusive seminar titled ‘Women in Spatial’. The comprehensive program also comprises of presentations on Digital Twins, Reality capture, Cadastre, 3D data, BIM, etc. The summit takes place Friday 30th August at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club near Melbourne.

The Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards – Victoria are on the night before, aiming as always to recognise and celebrate outstanding projects around Victoria.

In Perth, the one seminar Location Intelligence Forum and Exhibition (LIFE2019) is taking place on the 4th of September at Optus Stadium. The event will explore how space-based and location-based techniques provide advantages to organisations and how location intelligence assists in construction, emergency response, transport, and agriculture.

The event features what organisers promise is a great line-up of speakers with seminars on topics like virtual reality and augmented reality in construction, and mine restoration using UAVs.

On the evening of 4th September, SSSI and Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA) will be hosting the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards – WA edition.
