The IGNSS Association’s biennial international GNSS conference will return to UNSW Sydney from 7 to 9 February, 2024, where it will celebrate the first half-century of GNSS and look ahead to the next 50 years.

IGNSS 2024 will bring together experts, policy makers and emerging leaders from across the globe to examine the latest advances, present cutting edge research and discuss policy, market development and infrastructure.

The conference will also showcase Australia and New Zealand’s Southern Positioning Augmentation Network (SouthPAN), along with developments by other countries across the Asia-Pacific.

The Institution of Surveyors NSW (ISNSW) 2024 Annual Conference will be held over two days in February in the picturesque Blue Mountains, NSW.

The 3rd International Land Management Conference, hosted by the University of the West of England, will be held online on 14 and 15 March 2024. The event will bring together experts and professionals in land management to discuss inclusive land tenure, efficient land markets, sector reform and innovations in land research.

The conference will focus on four themes:

• Theme 1: Can we build more inclusive and resilient land tenure systems by understanding social value and climate change?
• Theme 2: How can land administration systems contribute to efficient and equitable land markets?

The conference is organised by LINK, the Land–International Network for Knowledge — a network of academic organisations, professional practice and development partners, as well as public and private sector country partners — in association with the University of the West of England.

The 2024 annual conference of the Association of Public Authority Surveyors, NSW (APAS) will be held at the Hyatt Hotel, Canberra, from 18 to 20 March 2024. The theme of the conference will be ‘Pushing the Boundaries’.

The Call for Abstracts is now open, with the following deadlines set:

BeGeo, an initiative of the Belgian National Geographical Institute (NGI), is an annual national event for the geo sector in Belgium.

The BeGeo conference combines with a geographic information fair to bring together a wide range of players from the public sector, academia, research, the private sector and associations. This year, the organisers have once again chosen Brussels Expo as the location for the event.

BeGeo says its vision is to be a platform where important players from the sector meet and thus actively contribute to the growth of the knowledge and competences necessary to tackle complex challenges and realise the great potential of geodata.

The Wavelength meeting was launched in 2013 for PhD students and early career researchers, addressing the demand for representation of new professionals as well as students from RSPSoc — the UK society for remote sensing and photogrammetry science.

Every year, Wavelength gathers participants from student and early career levels, as well as senior members and individuals within academia and business. The conference offers a setting to present student and EC work and meet new, like-minded contacts.

The 2024 conference will be run in a hybrid format, to accommodate those who can and those who cannot travel to Worcester.
