The organisers of the June 2024 Symposium welcome researc hers\, practitioners and companies involved in photogrammetry and computer vision to present and discuss their results with a broader audience. The Symposium will feature four days of plenary and keynote talks\, along with parallel sessions of oral and poster presentations from academia and indu stry.

The symposium’s theme is ‘The Role of Photogrammetry for a S ustainable World\,’ emphasising machine learning and mixed reality. The ev ent is being organised in collaboration with ASPRS (American Society of Ph otogrammetry and Remote Sensing) and SGPF (Swiss Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing).

The second Advancing Earth Observation Forum will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The five-day event will attract delegates across a broad spectrum of applications\, sensors and interests\, includi ng industry\, research\, defence\, government\, students and end-users.

The biennial Forum was created to enable the Earth observat ion (EO) community to communicate\, coordinate\, collaborate and collectiv ely assess the state of EO in the Australian and Asia-Pacific region.

AEO24 will build on the momentum generated at the inaugural AEO Forum held in Brisbane in 2022\, bringing together all sectors involved in EO t o propel the sector forward to meet the growing international demand for E O.
