 cience Australia Distinguished Lecture\, “Putting the ‘Geo’ into Geospatia
 l: Shaping the future of Positioning Australia\,” will cover future direct
 ion of the program\, reflecting on its past achievements and how it will m
 eet future positioning demands.</strong></p>\n<p>As it moves beyond the es
 tablishment phase\, the Positioning Australia program will strengthen its 
 capability for continued future relevance. The program builds on opportuni
 ties arising from Australia’s geographic location\, its technological capa
 bilities\, strong partnerships and internationally significant positioning
  infrastructure.</p>\n<p>The adoption of PNT-based technologies is changin
 g requirements for the systems delivering it. There is increasing awarenes
 s that society’s increasing reliance on modern technologies brings potenti
 al risks from vulnerabilities in PNT systems. This lecture will highlight 
 how Positioning Australia will address these issues\, including an often i
 nvisible risk: the reliance of PNT systems on a global geodesy supply chai

 trong>The 10th International Colloquium on Scientific and Fundamental Aspe
 cts of GNSS will bring together members of the European scientific communi
 ty and international partners involved in the use of Galileo and other GNS
 S in their research.</strong></p>\n<p>The colloquium <a href='https://atpi
 .eventsair.com/10th-gnss-science-colloquium/' target='_blank' rel='noopene
 r'>will address</a> several major areas of research:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scient
 ific applications in meteorology\, geodesy\, geodynamics\, geophysics\, sp
 ace physics\, oceanography\, land surface and ecosystem studies\;</li>\n<l
 i>Scientific developments in physics with a potential impact on future GNS
 S\, particularly in testing fundamental laws of physics\;</li>\n<li>Aspect
 s of metrology such as reference frames\, on board and ground clocks\, pre
 cise orbit determination and time and frequency transfer\; and</li>\n<li>S
 cientific aspects of satellite navigation\, positioning and its applicatio
 ns\, such as signal propagation\, precise positioning\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Th
 e conference will be organised as a series of plenary talks\, parallel hal
