ssociation of Geodesy (IAG) Commission 4 Symposium will bring together sci
entists\, researchers and professionals working in the broad field of posi
 tioning and its applications.</strong></p>\n<p>The <a href='https://iagc4.
 bdsmart.cn/index' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>symposium</a> will serve
as a platform for discussing research that leverages current and emerging
positioning techniques and technologies. It aims to provide both practical
and theoretical solutions across a wide range of topics.</p>\n<p>Discussi
ons will address both technical and institutional aspects of developing GN
SS backup systems\, integrated positioning solutions\, resilient PNT syste
ms\, and emerging LEO-based PNT techniques. The symposium will also explor
e space weather monitoring and forecasting through both ground-based and s
pace-based geodetic observations. Additionally\, the application of machin
e learning and artificial intelligence in geodesy will be examined.</p>\n<
p>The main topics to be covered include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Multi-frequency an
 d multi-constellation GNSS technique</li>\n<li>Terrestrial and satellite-b
ased positioning system development</li>\n<li>Multi-sensor fusion navigati
on and integrity monitoring</li>\n<li>Emerging positioning technologies\,
e.g.\, resilient PNT and LEO-based PNT</li>\n<li>Atmospheric space weather
monitoring using geodetic observation techniques</li>\n<li>Applications o
f geodesy to engineering</li>\n<li>Artificial Intelligence technique for g
 eodesy research</li>\n</ul>
