Travelling local GIS seminar series Directions LIVE is back in 2016, with spatial experts presenting at seven locations around the country.

Hosted by Esri Australia, the one-day events are designed to showcase the latest innovations across the ArcGIS platform, and also feature user presentations, technical demonstrations, practical software trials and GIS tips to help ‘geo-enlighten your organisation’.

Call for papers is now open – giving organisations the opportunity to be part of Australia’s largest GIS technology roadshow and showcase their innovative work with local audiences.

Specifically, Esri Australia are looking for presentations on the following topics:

  • Innovative usage of the ArcGIS platform
  • Increasing productivity with geo apps
  • Sharing maps using Web GIS
  • Applying spatial analysis to gain real-world insights
  • Modern day cartography and next-gen map-making
  • Supporting the platform with ArcGIS for Server, geodatabases or back-end development

If you are interested in presenting at your local Directions LIVE event, submit an abstract by Friday 5 February.

The seminar series is free for Esri technology users, with further event information available via the Directions LIVE webpage.
