The 17th annual Geospatial Solutions Conference, GITA 2012, is now accepting abstracts.

GITA 2012 is the premier geospatial technologies conference in Australia and New Zealand. This year’s conference has the theme From Fundamentals to the Future – Managing Assets Spatially and the program will particularly focus on Asset Systems, Smart Metering / Smart Grid, SCADA and Loss Detection systems, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), Integration of Geospatial with major business systems, Mobility devices and applications, Data Management, CAD to GIS, Remote Sensing applications, Research and Development in geospatial technologies.

The GITA 2012 program will bring together over 300 industry specialist and offers a great opportunity for sponsors and exhibitors to promote products and services to their market over three days in both a professional and social context.

As well as providing a top class program, GITA 2012 will showcase the beauty and delights of cosmopolitan Melbourne with a host of social events. These events will provide an ideal opportunity to network with colleagues and industry associates in a relaxed and unique environment.

GITA 2012 will run from the 6-8 August 2012 at the Sofitel Melbourne.
