The annual Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence awards are the only Awards in the Asia-Pacific region that recognise the excellent achievements of both individuals and organisations engaged in the spatial information industry across the region. In 2011 the format differed from previous years, with the project awards being presented at the APSEA Gala Dinner held in conjunction with the spatial@gov Conference in Canberra, and the individual awards presented at the SSSI biennial conference in Wellington, New Zealand.
This year saw an excellent standard of competition, with a diverse range of individuals and small, medium and large private, public and academic sector organisations vying for these prestigious awards.
APSEA is the peak theatre for conferring accolades on the industry’s top performers. Attaining recognition at this premier event denotes outstanding achievement and applauds those who deliver outcomes above and beyond the ordinary.
